The walleye bite on “the big lake” has picked up significantly this week during the daytime hours. Fish are biting on leeches with slip bobbers and/or a crawler harness, an occasional jumbo perch shows up with the walleye catch. Depth is 26-30 feet on the edge of the drop offs, of course the evening bite is still better in 16-22 feet of rocks.

Smallmouth Bass action is picking up in the shallow rocks. No Muskie hunting to speak of this week. Questions please call us at 320-532-8594.  We’d love to take you fishin!
